The CIAC has revised the state tournament schedule because of the effects of the snowstorm. The following is the revised schedule: BOYS SOCCER * First Round - LL, L, M, S -- November 11 * Second Round - LL, L, M, S -- November 14 * Quarter-Finals - LL, L, M, S -- November 16 * Semi-Finals - LL, L, M, S -- November 19 * Finals - LL, L, M, S -- November 25-26 GIRLS SOCCER * First Round - LL, L, M, S -- November 10 * Second Round - LL, L, M, S -- November 12 * Quarter-Finals - LL, L, M, S -- November 15 * Semi-Finals - LL, L, M, S -- November 18 * Finals - LL, L, M, S -- November 25-26 This Tuesday is the last day for games to count. The pairings will be announced on Wednesday. The girls begin on Thursday. The boys begin on Friday. It is supposed to rain on Thursday and Friday. YAY!! | ||

Fellow Officials, If you are officiating in state tournament games this week, congratulations! Please have a copy and read your state tourney packet which is available at ciacsports.com. Please get in touch with your partner and be on the field 30 minutes prior to kickoff. And take care of all of your pre-game duties including checking the field, the balls, see who the site director is, etc.... THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE FOR THIS YEAR'S TOURNEY THERE IS NO SUDDEN VICTORY IN ANY ROUND THIS YEAR. YOU WILL PLAY 2 TEN MINUTE OVERTIME PERIODS TO THE END. 20 MINUTES GUARANTEED. AND THEN PKS.
