Your jurisdiction begins 15 minutes before the game begins and ends when you leave the field and its immediate surroundings.
The emphasis for us as a board is to hold players and coaches accountable for post-game poor behavior. And the way to do that, if necessary, is to document that behavior with a caution or disqualification. Notably, coaches who follow you/track you down after the game is over. Politely hold a hand out indicating to the coach to stop. Keep walking. If the coach continues, it is within your jurisdiction to caution the coach, and/or, if the behavior escalates, to red card the coach(or player).
Be professional, do not get in an argument, but don't let them verbally berate or abuse you without penalty.

Some important mechanics in managing a possibly injured player. Once the play is dead, or if you stop play, stop the clock and go check on the player. I like to ask the player, "Do you need help or do you need a minute?" If the player needs help, then beckon on the coach or trainer. At this point, you should step away in case the coach has an issue which he's now going to talk to you about. Both referees>>>> make sure the other players remain on the field and make sure there is no coaching done by either coach with the players on the field. Except for substitutes which can be instructed.

IMPORTANT**************CRITICAL
If the possibly injured player is the GK, I would do the same thing. Ask the GK if he/she needs help or needs a minute. If the GK says he/she needs the coach or trainer, then they will have to come out of the game. Give the GK a little extra time if necessary to stay on the field. Make the decision to leave the game clearly the GK's choice. What you are doing here is taking yourself off the hook if there is a goal scored on the backup GK while that starting GK is out of the game.

But let's be clear, if any player INCLUDING THE GK is attended to on the field by a coach or trainer, they have to come out of the game.
INCLUDING the gk
Including the GK
INCLUDING THE GK
